My first encounter with the marvelous art of needle felting came when I stumbled upon the works of an artist on a social network. She sculpted various animals out of wool, with lifelike form and detail. Perhaps it was the softness of the wool itself, but these creations exuded a natural, rustic warmth, much like sunlight on a winter day, comforting and heartwarming.

This form of art deeply appealed to me, as it had the power to evoke happiness and love from the depths of one's soul. Thus, I harbored a desire to create similarly warm and joyful pieces using needle felting.

My two cats, Puppy and Laffy, became my best models. To capture every nuance of their expressions, I spent more time with them, meticulously discovering details I had never thought to pay attention to before. For me, needle felting portraits of my cats was not merely about creating art, but also about expressing my boundless affection for my cats.

I often pondered that perhaps one day, Puppy and Laffy would leave me, unable to accompany me any longer. However, their loveliness and warmth would forever remain in my heart, immortaliszed in the form of needle felt, bringing me endless comfort and solace.

Initially, I pursued this craft out of sheer interest, but when I realised the immense emotions needle felt creations could bring, I decided to turn it into my profession. I hope my works can bring a little warmth and solace to those who yearn to capture their pets' adorable moments or those who are grieving the loss of a beloved pet. I look forward to my creations awakening the love and happiness hidden within each person, becoming a warm beacon in their lives.
